Have you been wondering what it would be like to shirk all responsibilities for a week and focus simply on doing only good things for your body and yourself? At this retreat, you could have something even better because you’ll be surrounded with like-minded people who’ll quickly become new acquaintances and friends…and everything you do with friends, creates special bonds and memories. 5 ways Jeff’s retreat surprised me The truth is, as the acting Director of Fitness, I was busy setting up for class each morning and deciding which exercises would best suit the next person’s postural impression, health status and ability, I also had a chance to lose myself in the experience. Here are some highlights of moments I found worth mentioning. ![]() Healthy food options First up I have to give major kudos to the people preparing and serving our meals, Makayla, Alli, Pam, Sydney, and Emily (Photo left). These women were amazingly helpful and attentive to our individual likes and preferences and gave us special attention when it came to food sensitivities and allergies. They made sure that everything served was gluten free, and freshly prepared with healthy, locally sourced ingredients, whenever possible. Normally, heading to a retreat in a remote island means I need to bring my own food or scout out local sources to stock-up on items that don’t leave me feeling gross or unfulfilled while I am there. Not at this retreat!!! I was able to enjoy some amazing dishes and fruit trays both in the mornings and snacks throughout the day. These are some of the fruits and snacks that surprised me the most.
Making friends Making friends was impossible NOT to do in this group! What I was most surprised is the fact that while I like my alone time, yet I was completely unbothered to be surrounded constantly by this wonderful group of men and women. (Group Photo) Everyone was genuinely interested in sharing a personal story that gave us a different perspective about ourselves and the world we live in, so conversation topics were plentiful and came easy. All this made for a unique and unforgettable experience. Thank you Jeff for organizing this special event!

I was fortunate enough to have met Zoltan at PulverSSF and from the first moment I spoke with him he had a command of the human physiology that I have never experienced in another person. In the first 15 minutes of us talking, he was able to hone in on my exact problems in my body and with a few tips was able to correct my walking posture in a way that no doctor or trainer ever had. He invited me for a private session, and after hearing about my wife's private session I decided to give it a try. WOW - I played college football and trained with some of the best trainers in the world, and I can only say that I wish I had Zoltan as my trainer when I was playing. His ability to strengthen my weaknesses in the body was unmatched - his style is completely unique and method 100% science based. We used no weights, and the workout was significantly more impactful than any of the various methods from strenuous college football workouts to the top CrossFit trainers. Can't wait for this to become a revolution in fitness!!!

Hi Becky. In the mean time, please look up releasing exercises for TFL and Psoas on Youtube and try incorporating with the practices I showed you. Look forward to evaluating your progress next time I get a chance to see you. Take care and happy running

My time with Zoltan was changed my entire outlook on how the human body works. He truly understands how the body not only functions but how it works in harmony with itself. He opened up my muscles without me even stretching by exercising other muscles causing my right muscles to release. From the first time meeting me, he knew I had back problems just from the way I stood. I have never met someone who can read the body so well and get the body to work in unison. For years I could never touch my toes let alone my ankles and after 2 hours of working with Zoltan, I could touch the floor. I recommend working with Zoltan to anyone who wants to better their health.

Hi Austin. Your eagerness to learn about movement mechanics has made our session a truly exciting. I was surprised at your endurance, because most people won't last with me longer than an hour. Keep loosening the calves and hamstrings and work on deep core when you get a chance - search youtube for ideas. Hopefully, our paths will cross again and we can continue where we left off. Take care, Zoltan
