Practice Applications
I don’t see evidence for the cliché that “time can heal all wounds”; instead, it’s the positioning of joints within safe structural limits and targeted use of devices such as resistance bands, rollers, pulleys, stability balls…etc., to activate previously inactive motor units and facilitate specific regenerative processes, what can eventually bring profound healing and resolution that lasts.
RECOVERY PRACTICES
- Movement screening
- Realignment corrections
- Pulsed micro-movements
- Compression self-treatments
- Breath regulated movements
EXERCISE MODALITIES FOR...
- Bilateral muscle weakness
- Proprioceptive deficits
- Decreased ranges of motion
- Persistent muscle tension
- Reflex postural misalignments
Any person unable to detect the origin of his or her frailties in the body, and recognize the implications of incorrect muscle activation, or reflex spasms, cannot produce the needed action to achieve normalization. After exploring your movement initiation and postural habits, I provide a variety of tolerable exercises and long/short exposure tasks to bring back this general lack of perception, and address the underlying cause of break-downs and instabilities that can interfere with your ability to function optimally, stay recreationally active or perform at peak level.
Have you completed physical therapy or rehab for a musculoskeletal related condition and still feel a need for improvements?

Getting to know your body through individual guidance is key to preventing further decline and achieving success with any anti-aging and performance-enhancing regimen. I am here to support your journey of recovery with a system of exercises and conditioning maneuvers that at times can be more, or equally effective as manual therapy or chiropractic care (e.g. traction, massage, manipulation, stretching, ultrasound, and hot/cold application), for prevention and long-term management of issues related to poor posture, biomechanics and or alignment.
Healing is not a one-time event. Changes happen slowly at first, then become a cascade and gradually build on themselves. Watching you overcome disabling barriers in real time and move your body again in ways you never imagined possible makes practicing corrective exercise worthwhile.
